Getting started

Everything you need for your first few minutes in DealtIn™.

Create an account

  1. On the login screen, tap Create an account.
  2. Enter your Display Name and Email. Your display name is what other members see in the community.
  3. Check the box for I am 18 years of age or older.
  4. Check the box for I agree to the Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy.
  5. Tap Send Verification Code, then enter the 6-digit code from your email (see the next section).

Good to know: finish signing up within 48 hours. If you don't, just create your account again.

Log in with a code

There's no password to remember. Each time you log in, we email you a 6-digit Login Code.

  1. Enter your Email and tap Send Login Code.
  2. Open your email and find the code. If it isn't there after a minute, check your junk or spam folder.
  3. Type the 6 digits. The app signs you in as soon as you type the sixth digit, and there's a Verify button too.
  4. Didn't get it? Wait for the countdown (Send me a new code in N seconds), then tap Send me a new code.

Good to know: a code expires after 10 minutes, and you can ask for up to 5 codes in 15 minutes. If you've set up text codes in your profile, you can switch between email and text on the code screen. The Save email on this device box is checked by default, so you won't have to retype your address.

Log in with a password

A password is optional. If you've set one (see Profile and account), the link at the bottom of the login screen changes to Log in with password once you've typed your email.

  1. Enter your email, then tap Log in with password.
  2. Enter your password and tap Log In.

Prefer a code today? Tap Switch to code login. Codes always work, even if you have a password.

Your first look around

The first time you log in, a short four-slide intro appears. Tap Next to move through it, or Skip for now. On the last slide you'll see Go to my profile and Explore the app.

Good to know: both of those buttons just close the intro, and you land on the Profile tab. To start your first check-in, open the Journal tab and tap Pre-Session Check-In (how it works). To see the intro again, go to Profile and tap Show App Intro Again; it appears the next time you open the app. If you replay it later, Explore the app takes you to the Toolkit tab instead.

The bar along the bottom has five tabs.
