Everything you log, in one place. Your Journal is private; nothing here is shared unless you choose to post it.
Do a pre-session check-in
A quick look at how you're doing before you sit down. It takes five short steps, and each screen says Step N of 5.
Open the Journal tab and tap Pre-Session Check-In.
Energy Level: slide to show how your energy is right now, from 1 (Low) to 10 (High). Tap Next.
Current Mood: tap every mood that fits. You can pick several. There are 15, including Calm, Focused, Anxious, Overwhelmed, and Tired.
Environment: slide to show how comfortable you are with your surroundings right now, from 1 to 10.
Sleep Quality: slide to show how well you slept last night, from 1 to 10.
Nutrition & Hydration: answer Yes or No: have you eaten and had something to drink?
Tap See Readiness.
Good to know: tap Back any time to change an earlier answer. Check-ins need an internet connection to be saved. Without one you'll still see a score, but the check-in won't be kept.
Understand your Readiness score
After a check-in, the Readiness screen shows a score out of 10 that blends your answers. Energy and sleep count the most, and nutrition counts the least. The number is green at 7 or above, gold from 4 to 6, and red below 4.
A short message goes with your score. It's chosen from a few for each range, so two similar check-ins may read differently.
If your Environment answer is low, you'll see a suggestion to try a grounding exercise. If your Energy is low, you'll see a suggestion for a quick sensory reset. Tap Open toolkit tool to try it.
You can set up to 3 goals for the session. Pick from the suggestions, or tap + Add my own.
Then choose Play On or Not Today. Both are fine. They just record whether you played that day, and you'll see it in your history and in Insights.
Log a session
Open the Journal tab and tap Session.
Fill in the details:
Date and Time
Game Type (Cash or Tournament) and Format (Live or Online)
Buy-in ($) and Cash-out ($)
Duration (hours and minutes)
Location / Platform
For a cash game, choose Stakes from the presets, or enter your own. For a tournament, pick any Tournament Tags that fit.
Tap Log Session.
A sheet asks what you'd like to do next: Pre-Session Check-In, Hand Notes, Post-Session Review, or All Done.
Good to know: the date and time are typed in as numbers (for example, 10/09/2026). If you leave a new session half-filled, it's saved as a draft and waiting for you next time. Tap Reset to clear it. Sessions are saved on your phone first and sync when you're online, so you can log one without a connection. To log a similar session again, open it and tap Copy Session.
Add a hand note
For a hand worth remembering. You only need to add one detail.
Open the Journal tab and tap Hand Notes. This opens New Hand Note.
Optional: tap + Attach to Session to link it to a session you logged.
Add what you want to remember: your Position, your Hole Cards, the Board (tap + Add Flop, then the Turn and River), and the Result (Won, Lost, or Chop).
Tap + Add Opponent Hand to note what someone else showed. You can add up to 9.
Use Overall Notes for the story. For a closer look, tap Add Street Notes (Advanced) to jot down what happened on each street.
Tap Save Hand Note.
Good to know: tap Post as Hand for Review to start a pre-filled community post asking for other players' thoughts. It only posts if you finish it. Favorites (the star) on hand notes are kept on your phone only.
Review a session
A Post-Session Review is a short look back at how it went, in six steps.
Open the Journal tab and tap Post-Session Review, then choose a session from the list. You can also start one from the sheet after logging a session, or from a session's page.
Energy Drains: pick anything that pushed your buttons today, such as Bad Beat, Time Pressure, Sensory Overload, or Fatigue.
Coping Strategies: add what worked and what didn't. Type a strategy and tap +. Tap one to remove it.
Decision Quality: say which game you brought (A-Game, B-Game, or C-Game), whether you deviated from your game plan, and any spots you felt unsure about.
Post-Session State: rate your energy from 1 to 10 and pick the emotional state that fits best.
Reflection: write what you'd do differently, if anything.
Goal Check: if you set goals in a check-in for this session, mark each one Hit it, Mostly, or Missed it. This step only appears when there are goals.
Tap Save Review.
Good to know: you can add or change a review later. Open the session and tap Edit Post-Session Review (or Add Post-Session Review if it doesn't have one yet). Your reviews feed the patterns in Insights.
Write a general note
For anything that isn't a session or a hand.
Open the Journal tab and tap General Notes, then tap the + button.
Add an optional Title and your Note. Tap + Attach to Session if it belongs with one.
Tap Save Note.
Find, favorite, edit, and delete entries
Under History on the Journal tab you'll find Check-Ins, Sessions, and Hand Notes. Each list has filter buttons along the top, such as All, 30d, 90d, and 1y. The Sessions list also has Favs, Adv (more filters), Cash or Tourn, and wins or losses.
Favorite: tap the star on an entry.
Open or edit: tap a session or a note to open it. Check-ins can be viewed and deleted, but not edited.
Delete one: use the … menu on a check-in, or press and hold a hand or general note for Edit and Delete.
Delete several: on Sessions, tap Select. On Check-Ins, press and hold a card to start selecting.
Restore a deleted session
Deleted sessions are kept for 30 days before they're gone for good.
On the Sessions list, tap the trash button. It appears only when something has been deleted.
You're now in Recently Deleted. Each session shows how many days it has left.
Tap Restore to bring one back, or Delete to remove it now.
Good to know: only sessions have a Recently Deleted list. Check-ins, hand notes, and general notes are deleted for good once you confirm, so the app asks first.
